The Daoism most people encounter today has too often been stripped of the disciplined inner work that stabilizes your energy, clears your mind, and transforms your consciousness at its root — promising instead a fast track to awakening and transformation.
The sacred technologies that are left out of modern practice — such as hand seals, healing tones, bowing rituals, and sacred invocations — are vital elements on the Daoist map for true transformation.
Thankfully, the ancient lineage of Daoist meditation has been preserved. Lineage bearers such as Shifu Lindsey Wei, a 24th-generation lay disciple of the Chun Yang Sect of Wudang Daoism and founder of Wudang White Horse Martial Arts School, bring these authentic spiritual tools back to the forefront.
In this 10-module training from Shifu Lindsey, you will be guided through sacred technologies to awaken the power of sound and language as living transmission — weaving protective light through your cells, fortifying your Qi, and clearing subtle disturbances in your field.
As you create your Daoist altar and enter ritualized meditation, your physical space becomes sanctified — a threshold between worldswhere devotion steadies the heart and the Dao becomes palpable —where you can prepare body, mind, and spirit for embodied higher consciousness rather than fleeting downloads or epiphanies.
Having trained in Traditional Chinese Qigong in a remote Wudang Mountain temple under Grandmaster Li Xing De, she brings rare access to original Daoist ritual practices for grounded awakening, harmonizing your organs with the elements, and creating the foundations for real Internal Alchemy that are seldom taught in full context in the West.
You’ll learn sacred Chinese practices such as Sleeping Dragon for improved sleep and focus — and mantras such as the Golden Light Spirit Mantra that function as a vibrational code, embedding protective light within your body.
You’ll also be guided to create a Daoist altar, transforming physical space into a sacred container for dialogue with higher guides and the Dao.
And, you’ll receive a clear and uncompromised understanding of why ritual, devotion, protection, and disciplined meditation are preparatory stages for awakening.
Shifu Lindsey is both a practitioner and transmitter of a living lineage. Her teaching bridges temple practices and contemporary clarity without diluting the tradition.
If you feel called to enter an ancient initiatory path for awakening, this course provides the depth, rigor, and sacred container required to prepare the ground for true Internal Alchemy.
In this 10-module self-paced transformational course, Shifu Lindsey guides you through the skills and competencies you’ll need to take your meditative practice to the next level through authentic Daoist meditation techniques and rituals designed as preparation for awakening and true Internal Alchemy.
This course features step-by-step teachings and experiential practices from Shifu Lindsey. Each session builds harmoniously upon the previous ones, so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to catalyze your spiritual evolution through the wisdom of an ancient Daoist lineage. Your purchase includes 24/7 ongoing access to your course content, allowing you time to review the materials at your own pace and integration.
Please Note: If you have not experienced Shifu Lindsey’s teachings before, you’re welcome to join this next-level course but we ask that you complete the foundational 7-module The Daoist Art of Longevity With Wudang Qigong program on your own as a prerequisite. It will be included in your registration and can be completed before or in tandem with this advanced intensive.

Become familiar with spirit incantations — conjuring and creating protective golden light around your body through voice and sound.
The art of memorizing and embedding a language code into you is a central practice of Daoism. You’ll begin with learning a mantra from the Ba Da Shen Zhou Eight Great Spirit Incantations.
Shifu Lindsey demonstrates how this 25-line Golden Light Spirit Mantra invokes healing light within and around your body using sound, prayer, and intention to purify cells, protect the body, and radiate positive frequency outwards.
This jin guang is a foundation for Daoist Medicine, Qigong, and alchemy, and is memorized, incanted, and cultivated over a period of 49 days. This session provides a great introduction to the Chinese language and Daoist beliefs through sacred text.
In this opening session, you’ll:

The Daoist altar is an ancient communication device central to the practice of seated meditation — ritualizing the act of prayer through space, movement, meditation — and inviting in wisdom from higher guides.
In this session, Shifu Lindsey demonstrates how to create a physical space where you can meditate and practice the rituals learned in this course.
You’ll have the option to create one or both styles of Daoist altar. One will be the home altar built according to traditional requirements, and the other will be what is called a Tu Di Shen Tan…
… a very ancient form of altar that began as a mound of earth outside in nature, with a small bowl for offering incense.
This place will support your home practice, help you communicate with the Dao — the divine mystery — and cultivate stillness, tranquility, and sacred connection.
In this session, you’ll:

Mind fasting, or Xin Zhai, offers relief from incessant rumination as you encounter the mind in a different way, leading to greater health and vitality.
Previously, you learned to observe and detach from the endless stream of thoughts generated by the mind. In this session, you’ll gain tools to refuse the habit and impulse to follow thoughts and projections.
Very similar to physical fasting, you’ll explore how to persevere and possibly distract yourself with something else when you feel hunger — such as hydration or a task.
Fasting the mind creates space for the spirit to come forward — the spirit mind naturally exists in a state of tranquility and optimal physical regeneration.
You’ll also have the opportunity to engage in physical fasting methods as Shifu Lindsey shares several fasting options based on what works for your life and constitution.
In this session, you’ll:

Journey deeper into ritualizing meditation for peace and meaning as you explore the physical sequence — including hand seals and bowing — of a traditional incense offering ceremony used in Daoist temples across China.
Shifu Lindsey shares how every motion is specific — from how to light the incense sticks, to which hand is used to offer the incense, to special hand formations for placing.
Following the offering of incense is the bowing ritual, a graceful form of movement designed to nourish the post-heaven essence, open the right hemisphere of the brain, and transcend the ego to reduce self-focus.
In this session, you’ll:

Virtue is a key foundation of Internal Alchemy. The first session of Grandmaster’s alchemy course consists of a text called 49 Barriers by Liu Yi Ming that describes these guan — the barriers a human must overcome in their inner nature and personal character cultivation.
They include challenges such as irritability, arrogance, illusion, lack of faith, jealousy, resentment, wealth, and laziness.
You’ll explore this text and learn how to practice the Eight Virtues of xiao, ti, zhong, xin, li, yi, lian, chi; filial piety, sibling harmony, loyalty, trustworthiness, etiquette, justice, honor, and shame. Striving to understand these virtues is a standard expected of adepts and students on the path of the Dao, and is also the key to success in neidan.
In this session, you’ll:

It is said that the three arts of Chun Yang school are jue, fa, zhou — hand seal, talisman, and mantra. In this module, you’ll explore the power of hand seals, also known as mudras, or arrangements of the hands and fingers that create a signature, a symbol, a shift, or communication in the spirit world.
Shifu Lindsey demonstrates how they can also be used to aid in concentration of energy in meditation and in healing application. Jue are used frequently in Daoist ceremonies, and also in Daoist medicine.
In this session, you’ll:

Discover the Wu Yin Ge, or Five Tone Healing Song, a sacred Qigong practice transmitted through the Five Immortals Temple lineage by Master Shen Wu, a renowned teacher of music therapy who collaborated with institutions such as the John A. Burns School of Medicine.
Rooted in the ancient Chinese understanding that music is medicine — reflected in the character for “medicine,” which combines the pictograph for music with the radical for herb…
… this practice uses the original pentatonic tones jue, zhi, gong, shang, and yu to vibrationally harmonize the five internal organs of liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys, and the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
Through a simple four-verse melody, you'll be encouraged to activate your voice to release unhealthy or stagnant Qi, draw in fresh life force, stimulate immunity, support cellular resonance, and promote metabolic renewal.
By creating harmonious oscillation between sound waves, organs, brain, and breath, the Five Tone Healing Song functions both as a profound meditation technique and as an internal energetic medicine that balances body and mind, restores coherence to the organ systems, and cultivates unity between human life and the rhythms of heaven and earth.
In this session, you’ll:

Sleeping Dragon is a lying-down meditation position, as well as a sleep practice. It is used to preserve jing, Qi, and shen that would be lost through sleeping and dreaming.
Often, your dreams are chaotic and not restful — just as your mind can be during the daytime.
Through Zhe Long Fa , Shifu Lindsey shows how to control the mind even during unconscious sleep, thereby improving sleep quality while also increasing the amount of time spent in meditation every day. This method has profound results.
In this session, you’ll:

The understanding of spirits residing in the human body first appears in the Huang Ting Jing (Yellow Court Scripture), written by Wei Hua Cun of the Shang Qing School of Daoism.
Huang Ting Jing was a visualization manual from 288 C.E. describing luminosities within the organs capable of providing spiritual resources, protection, and healing.
You'll be guided in the Shang Qing Body Spirits Invocation meditation method with tonal sound healing and color visualizations. The names of these organ spirits can also be found on the Nei Jing Tu — Internal Landscape Map — an essential diagram used in Internal Alchemy.
You’ll also explore the Upper Clarity texts to further understand this branch of Daoism and how it viewed the internal landscape and human anatomy as an ecosystem.
In this session, you’ll:

In this final module, Shifu Lindsey shares exactly what Internal Alchemy Nei Dan is, the differences in schools of thought, and the common misperceptions of it in the West.
You’ll review what the true foundation and timeline is for this transformation, and the correct path and mindset to approach it with. You will not be learning any cultivation methods of alchemy such as water wheels and firing times.
In this session, you’ll:

Self inquiry is a process of deconstructing self through the question "Who am I?" during seated meditation. This method challenges the default program of the mind built on the notion of separateness. During this guided meditation with Shifu Lindsey Wei, you’ll sit with this question and experience its potential. Through the peeling back of layers and sifting through the mud, you can sometimes find a gem, which is your own spirit becoming present.

In this lecture presentation, Johan Hausen, founder of Purple Cloud Press, shares 3rd-century (Western Jin Dynasty) illustrations of internal organs and spirits believed to reside within them. The visualization of these internal “lights” within the organs was a practice common within the Upper Clarity School of Daoism. Following the lecture is a meditation to tune into the inner light of the organs.

This is a special excerpt from The Arts of Daoism by Xing De. You’ll explore the method of the Hibernating Dragon, as translated by Johan Hausen and Allen Tsuar. You’ll also discover the techniques used for cultivating the mind during sleep, including position, hand seals, incantations, and visualizations.

In this compelling excerpt (Chapters 1-3) from the remarkable book by Wang Feng Yi (translated by Johan Hausen and Jonas Akers,) you’ll find a true testament to the benefits of Daoist spiritual cultivation. Wang Feng Yi’s teachings are like thoughtful and profound prose that can allow people to transform their own emotional states, and experience healing at the deepest level.
